The  our courses are run at:
Unit 1, Union Park, Bircholt Road, Maidstone, ME15 9XT
(about 16 miles from M2 and 4 miles from M20)
We are happy to come out and do training on-site in your area.

Our Electrican’s courses are competitvely priced and are the best value in the industry. We offer great value for money for new and existing electricians.

What PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will I need?2022-03-31T16:33:37+01:00

We require you in the workshop to wear the correct PPE.

You will need to supply your own steel toe capped boots, but the Electrical Academy will provide goggles, gloves, and vests. If you would like to bring your own PPE in, you’re welcome to do so as long as it meets the standard requirements.

How long do I have to complete my course?2022-03-31T16:34:07+01:00

The durations for courses vary.

More information can be found on the “Course Information” on each individual course.

With regards to the longer courses you will have the following time to complete:

2365-02 – 6 months

2365-03 – 9 months

2357 – 12 months

2346 – 12 months

If you run over these durations, there will be extra costs involved to re-register. Please contact us for further information.

UPDATE – Due to Covid 19 we have extended our course durations for 6 months.

(This is applicable for enrolments prior to 23rd March 2020)

Yes we do. We understand that a lot of electricians don’t want to take days off during the working week losing money, so The Electrical Academy has designed our courses around you and to suit your requirements.
Courses are normally held throughout the week all year round.
What resources will I require?2022-03-31T16:34:59+01:00

The Electrical Academy recommends a pen and note pad as well as the books that you will require for the different courses. Please see individual course details. We can purchase these for you in advance to your course starting.

Can I pay for courses online?2022-03-31T16:35:31+01:00

Yes you can. All you need to do is fill in the online booking form for the course you want to take. You can then pay through our secure payment pages and will automatically receive a receipt in your email inbox.

Because of the popularity of our courses, we normally require a small deposit to secure your place.

Cancellation Charges2022-03-31T16:36:51+01:00

All cancellations must be notified in writing. For requests to cancel a booking received more than 28 calendar days prior to the course start date, the candidate will be given a refund of any payment or deposit. For requests to cancel a booking received between 22 and 28 calendar days prior to the course start date there will be a charge of 20% of the value of the booking. For requests to cancel a booking received between 14 and 21 calendar days prior to the course start date there will be a charge of 50% of the value of the booking. For notification of cancellation received less than 14 calendar days before the course start date, there will be no refund of any prepayment and the full balance will remain due.
