Apprentice sign up week, why employers keep investing in apprentices

During apprentice sign up week, The Electrical Academy welcomed multiple apprentices who were joining our programme. In this video we hear from Jamaal and John from Laing O’Rourke about why it remains important to continue training apprentices and why they chose us as their training provider.

We also spoke with apprentices from JPS Renewable Energy, who shared why they want to become electricians and what they hope to achieve through the apprenticeship route. It’s a useful reminder that people enter the trade with different motivations, but they all need the same foundations, high standards, practical experience and support.

That approach helps learners build confidence early, which makes a difference once they’re back on site.
