Kent County Show 2025, meeting future electricians and experienced tradespeople

The Electrical Academy was proud to be part of the Kent County Show 2025, speaking with people at every stage of their journey. Across the weekend we met future sparks exploring apprenticeships, experienced tradespeople considering upskilling, and past learners who stopped by to catch up.

Why events like this matter

Careers in the electrical industry are built through knowledge, practice and confidence. Local events help open doors for people who might not yet know what routes are available, whether that’s an electrical apprenticeship, a change of direction, or additional qualifications to support progression.

Conversations that shape next steps

The best part of these weekends is the conversations. Some visitors are at the very start, asking what an apprentice electrician does day to day. Others are already working in the trade and want to understand which City and Guilds electrical courses can support compliance, competence and career growth.

A genuine thank you to the organisers and everyone who took the time to visit our stand and speak with The Electrical Academy team.
