Kent County Show 2023, conversations about futures in the electrical industry

The Electrical Academy attended the Kent County Show 2023 for our third year running, and it was a great weekend meeting visitors and discussing careers in the electrical industry.

Supporting people at different stages

Some people came to talk about their own future, others were thinking about a family member’s next step. These conversations matter because apprenticeships and training routes are not always obvious until someone explains them in plain terms.

Why we keep showing up

Events like the Kent County Show help highlight hands-on careers and give people a chance to ask questions without pressure. Whether someone is looking at an electrical apprenticeship or trying to understand the wider trade, meeting face to face helps turn curiosity into a plan.
